Softball Recap: Wood River Wolverines vs. Burley Bobcats

There's no place like home for Wood River, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against the Burley Bobcats by a score of 5-1 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Wood River also won the last time the pair played back in April.

Makinzie Nelson made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Nelson was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.
