Softball Recap: Ross Rams vs. Fairfield Indians
It was a good run, but Ross unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They lost 11-5 to the Fairfield Indians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Ross of the 12-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April.
Emilee Peters made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Aurora Wallace was another key contributor, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with a double and an RBI.
Ross dropped their record down to 15-9 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Fairfield, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.
As of now, neither Ross nor Fairfield have any future games scheduled.
