Basketball Game Preview: Loudoun Valley Vikings vs. Tuscarora Huskies

The Loudoun Valley Vikings will venture away from home to take on the Tuscarora Huskies at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Loudoun Valley is headed into Wednesday's matchup hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They were dealt a 68-41 defeat at the hands of Heritage on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Vikings have suffered since February 20, 2024.

Meanwhile, Tuscarora didn't have quite enough to beat Dominion on Friday and fell 39-37.

Tuscarora's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Loudoun Valley, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-4.

Loudoun Valley beat Tuscarora 34-24 in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Will Loudoun Valley repeat their success, or does Tuscarora have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
