Baseball Recap: Craigmont Takes a Loss

Craigmont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Raleigh-Egypt Pharaohs. That's two games in a row now that the Chiefs have lost by just one run.

Kavious Williams made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in two of his three plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs. Adam Stiger was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases.

Craigmont's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Raleigh-Egypt, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Looking ahead, Craigmont will head out to square off against Cordova at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. Raleigh-Egypt does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
