Softball Recap: Breaux Bridge Tigers vs. Eunice Bobcats
Breaux Bridge extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to six on Thursday, dropping them down to 0-3. They came up short against the Eunice Bobcats, falling 17-3. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bobcats from their previous meeting back in February of 2025.
Hailey D was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaydence G, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Smith has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Eva Sattler, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Those doubles were her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Sydni Miller, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
