Baseball Recap: Hoover Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Hoover can now relate to. They fell just short of the Tuscaloosa County Wildcats by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The Buccaneers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Hoover's defeat dropped their record down to 22-18. As for Tuscaloosa County, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 28-13.

Hoover does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Tuscaloosa County has already played their next match (against the Buccaneers), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
