Basketball Recap: Valwood Comes Up Short

Valwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 50-23 loss at the hands of the Tiftarea Academy Panthers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Valiants this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-17 back in January.

Valwood's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Tiftarea Academy, they moved to 3-14 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Valwood will welcome Terrell Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Terrell Academy will roll in looking for their 20th straight win, something Valwood surely won't give up without a fight. As for Tiftarea Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 41-35 defeat against Sherwood Christian Academy on the 3rd.
