Softball Recap: Airport Extends Home Winning Streak to Seven

Airport put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the Mid-Carolina Rebels.

The team relied heavily on Macie McCracken, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Airport's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. As for Mid-Carolina, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Airport wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 10-2 victory against Chapin on the 6th. As for Mid-Carolina, they will challenge River Bluff at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
