Baseball Recap: Sparks Comes Up Short

Sparks was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 20-1 to the South Tahoe Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-2 on Friday.

Sparks' defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for South Tahoe, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-13.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sparks is set to challenge their familiar foe Wooster at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, South Tahoe will face off against rival Truckee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
