Baseball Recap: Hudson Falls Comes Up Short

Hudson Falls extended their losing streak to three on Wednesday, dropping them down to 5-14. They came up short against the Glens Falls Indians, falling 8-2. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 29, 2024, but that streak is no more.

Hudson Falls saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Christopher Hunt, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

As for Glens Falls, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. The result was nothing new for Glens Falls, who have now won six matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

On Glens Falls' side, Brayden Bennett and Quinn LaMountain made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing, Bennett didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over four innings pitched. Meanwhile, LaMountain tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. At bat, Bennett went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double, while LaMountain got on base in two of his three plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

In other batting news, Glens Falls let Jeffery Woodell and Chace Davidson run wild. Woodell got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, while Davidson went 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most runs Davidson has posted since back in May of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Aidan Perry, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI.

As of now, neither Hudson Falls nor Glens Falls have any future games scheduled.
