Volleyball Recap: Windham Takes a Loss

Windham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Falmouth Navigators. The Eagles were not able to make up for their loss to the Navigators from their previous meeting back in October of 2023.

Windham was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-16, 25-23.

Their offense was headlined by Kendra Eubanks and Josephine Sibley, who picked up five kills apiece. Sibley really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with ten. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Windham's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Falmouth, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5.

Windham didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Massabesic on the 20th. As for Falmouth, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Cheverus on the 20th.
