Conway Springs dropped their record down to 7-12 on Thursday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins on the road. They fell 5-0 to the Chaparral Roadrunners. The Cardinals were red-hot at the plate heading into the contest (they scored no less than ten runs in the three matches prior), but the Roadrunners' pitchers proved too tough.
