Basketball Game Preview: Balmorhea Bears vs. Grandfalls-Royalty Cowboys

The Balmorhea Bears will face off against the Grandfalls-Royalty Cowboys at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Balmorhea has three straight wins, Grandfalls-Royalty has ten straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Tuesday, Balmorhea earned a 52-45 victory over Fort Davis.

Meanwhile, Grandfalls-Royalty took a blow against Buena Vista two weeks ago, falling 73-41.

Balmorhea will have to keep a close watch on Nicky Sanchez and Aiden Dominguez, a pair of players who had a big impact on Grandfalls-Royalty's prior game. Sanchez posted six points, while Dominguez put up six points.

Balmorhea's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points over those games. As for Grandfalls-Royalty, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.
