Flag Football Game Preview: North Johnston Panthers vs. Rocky Mount Gryphons

The North Johnston Panthers will challenge the Rocky Mount Gryphons at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.

On Monday, North Johnston didn't have quite enough to beat Hunt and fell 21-19. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Rocky Mount ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 7-6 victory over Beddingfield.

One reason for the win was Rocky Mount's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. Jayden Terry was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two herself.

North Johnston's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Rocky Mount, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
