Recap: Skyridge Falcons vs. Highland Rams
The Skyridge Falcons's game on Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They claimed a resounding 51-19 win over Highland on the road. With Skyridge ahead 30-9 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Shae Toole was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 10 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Skyridge's points. Another player making a difference was Ellah Oeser, who scored 12 points along with 5 rebounds.
Skyridge pushed their record up to 4-1 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points per game. As for Highland, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Skyridge will take on Riverton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Riverton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Utah Rankings (they are ranked 77th, while Skyridge is ranked 13th). As for Highland, they will be playing at home against Timpview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
