Recap: Prince of Peace Eagles vs. Dallas Christian Chargers
It was a good run, but the Prince of Peace Eagles unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They suffered a tough 44-23 loss at the hands of Dallas Christian. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Prince of Peace has scored all season.
Leeza Dayian had an outrageously good game for Dallas Christian as she scored 22 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Dayian has scored all season. Jackie Schlegel was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Prince of Peace's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Dallas Christian, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-6.
Prince of Peace will take on Brook Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Brook Hill focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Friday. As for Dallas Christian, they will head out on the road to take on All Saints Episcopal at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. All Saints Episcopal will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1149th, while Dallas Christian is ranked 542nd).
