Baseball Recap: North Farmington Takes a Loss

North Farmington lost against Berkley back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Raiders fell just short of the Bears by a score of 3-2.

Will Latra was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. That stolen base was his first of the season.

North Farmington has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-24 record this season. As for Berkley, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-17.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Farmington will welcome Avondale at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Berkley, they will take on Shrine Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
