Apple Valley dropped their record down to 19-6 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's eight-game streak of wins. They took  a  7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sultana Sultans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sultans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  12-6  back in March.
 Beau Lloyd put in work no matter where he played. On the mound, he  pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off   one  hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with one  run and one  double.
 In other batting news,  Isaiah Reveron made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-3 with one  home run. Another player making a difference was  Seth Robertson, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with one  double.
As for Sultana, the  victory was  the 16th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-2-1. Those  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 7.9 runs over those games.
 On Sultana's side,  Brayden Booth was  incredible,  going 1-for-3 with one  home run and three  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Alex Gamez, who  got on base  in all four of his plate appearances with two  stolen bases, one  run,  and one  RBI.
While Apple Valley had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 3:15  p.m.  on Thursday.
