Football Recap: Montbello Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

George Washington came into Friday's game looking for another win against Montbello, but Amari Williams wouldn't allow it. The Warriors strolled past the Patriots with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 38-21 with plenty of help from Williams, who rushed for 209 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.6 yards per carry. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 58 yards.

Montbello didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Brad Pixler led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. Pixler is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least five every time he's taken the field this season.

As for George Washington, they will take on Thomas Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Spartans will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.
