Carter won the last time they faced Colton and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Lions walked away with a 5-1 win over the Yellowjackets. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.
Karla Vigil made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over five innings pitched. Vigil was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one double.
Vigil wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was TJ Okundaye, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one run.
