Basketball Recap: West Jones Extends Home Winning Streak to Nine

West Jones proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by 27) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 38-35 victory over the Terry Bulldogs. The win was nothing new for the Mustangs as they're now sitting on five straight.

Terry lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Madison Jones, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. Jones is also crushing it when it comes to blocks: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Marleya Myers, who posted three points and three steals.

West Jones' victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-4. As for Terry, their loss ended a 12-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 17-6.
