Baseball Recap: Akron-Fairgrove Takes a Loss

Akron-Fairgrove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 21-4 to the North Huron Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 16-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Akron-Fairgrove saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joel C., who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Akron-Fairgrove's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for North Huron, the win snapped their losing streak at seven games and leaves them with a 2-10 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Akron-Fairgrove will host Memphis at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Huron, they will take on Bad Axe at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
