Warwick has gone a perfect 4-0 against Monticello recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Wildcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Wednesday, Warwick came up short against Minisink Valley and fell 9-6. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jack Gobinski was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. Michael Molinelli was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases.

Meanwhile, Monticello was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against Valley Central, falling 12-2.

Warwick's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Monticello, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.

Warwick took their win against Monticello in their previous meeting back in April by a conclusive 13-3 score. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
