Big Sandy's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 35-34 victory over the Hawkins Hawks. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

A big part of Big Sandy's win came down to the chemistry between Kayden Smith and his top target Aidan Brown. Smith threw for 185 yards and two touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes while Brown gained 147 total yards and two touchdowns.
