Soccer Recap: Burlington-Edison Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Burlington-Edison faced off against Lakewood on Tuesday. The Tigers fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 3-2. Burlington-Edison were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Lakewood apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Burlington-Edison's loss dropped their record down to 2-4-3. As for Lakewood, the win got them back to even at 4-4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Burlington-Edison is set to challenge their familiar foe Lynden at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lakewood will take on rival Bellingham at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
