Football Recap: Aspen Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Aspen was feeling good fresh off their 47-14 takedown of Moffat County last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Skiers were outmatched by the Delta Panthers and fell 52-7. The loss continues a trend for the Skiers in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost five in a row.

Mickey Marolt threw for 107 yards and one touchdown. Malcolm Berg was his top target, picking up 77 receiving yards and one TD. On the ground, Dylan Mika rushed for 72 yards.

Delta had a senior duo take command as Jhett Ryan threw for 192 yards and four touchdowns and Deacon Shean picked up 163 receiving yards and four scores. Shean really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 75 yards. MACK Lockhart helped Ryan out on the ground, rushing for 139 yards on only 12 carries.

Aspen's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Delta, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.
