Basketball Recap: Wakefield Has No Trouble Against Chassell

Wakefield played in conference for the first time on Monday and they got just the result they we're looking for. They greeted the New Year with with a 47-31 victory over the Chassell Panthers. That's more bragging rights for the Cardinals, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The win made it two in a row for Wakefield and bumps their season record up to 2-3. As for Chassell, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Wakefield will head out to face off against Dollar Bay at 7:15 p.m. on January 14th. As for Chassell, they will challenge Stephenson at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
