Volleyball Recap: Akron-Fairgrove Takes a Loss

Akron-Fairgrove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Carsonville-Port Sanilac Tigers. The Vikings were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Akron-Fairgrove's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9-2. As for Carsonville-Port Sanilac, their win ended a five-match drought at home and bumped them up to 3-12.

Coming up, Akron-Fairgrove will venture away from home to challenge All Saints Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Carsonville-Port Sanilac, they will welcome Owendale-Gagetown at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
