Basketball Recap: North Central Victorious

North Central won the last time they faced Gorham Fayette and things went their way on Friday too. The North Central Eagles came out on top against the Gorham Fayette Eagles by a score of 37-24. North Central didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this victory makes it their second in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Gorham Fayette lost, don't look at Caden Leininger. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds. Those nine boards gave Leininger a new career-high. Dane Andrews also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

North Central's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Gorham Fayette, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

North Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 57-53 victory against Continental on the 25th. Gorham Fayette has also already played their next contest, a 62-32 defeat against Hicksville on the 25th.
