Soccer Recap: Aldine Snags Eighth Win in Last Nine Games

Aldine won the last time they faced Benjamin Davis and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Aldine Mustangs were the clear victor by a 9-1 margin over the Benjamin Davis Falcons. Considering the Mustangs have won 14 contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Benjamin Davis with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Gewlaymi Gonzalez (4), Karina Lemus (3), and Anabelle Esparza (2).

Aldine is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 53 goals over those nine games. Benjamin Davis' loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Aldine will welcome Eisenhower at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Aldine will be up against Eisenhower's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.15 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Benjamin Davis, they will host Westfield at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
