It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Scranton Prep had no problem doing just that on Friday. They walked away with a 28-21 win over the Mifflinburg Wildcats. The victory was nothing new for the Cavaliers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Defeat or not, Mifflinburg got some senior leadership from Landen Murray and Chad Martin. Murray picked up 240 receiving yards and three touchdowns, while Martin threw for 291 yards and three TDs while picking up 12.1 yards per attempt. Murray really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 82 yards.

Scranton Prep's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Mifflinburg, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-3.

Coming up, Scranton Prep will welcome Northwestern Lehigh at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cavaliers will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. Mifflinburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
