Softball Recap: Pendleton Heights Takes a Loss

Pendleton Heights lost against Yorktown back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Arabians fell 9-6 to the Tigers.

Avry Miller was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run and one double. Aubrey Fox was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one run.

Pendleton Heights' loss dropped their record down to 12-15. As for Yorktown, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

Pendleton Heights does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Yorktown, they will challenge New Castle at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
