Basketball Game Preview: Boling Bulldogs vs. Hempstead Bobcats

The Boling Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Hempstead Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Boling will be strutting in after a win while Hempstead will be coming in after a loss.

Last Friday, Boling didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Brazos, but they still walked away with a 50-45 victory.

Meanwhile, Hempstead was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 48-40 to East Bernard. That's two games in a row now that the Bobcats have lost by exactly eight points.

Boling's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points per game. As for Hempstead, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.

Boling strolled past Hempstead in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a score of 52-37. The rematch might be a little tougher for Boling since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
