Ooltewah's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 47-46 victory over the East Hamilton Hurricanes. This was a revenge game for the Owls: when they faced off against the Hurricanes back in January, they had to take a 47-28 loss.

Ooltewah's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Allie Tipton, who went 8-for-14 en route to 23 points along with five assists and three blocks. That makes it three consecutive games in which Tipton has scored at least a third of Ooltewah's points. Aleigha Taylor was another key player, putting up 12 points in addition to seven boards and five steals.

The win got Ooltewah back to even at 15-15. As for East Hamilton, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-12.

Looking ahead, Ooltewah will square off against Bradley Central at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bradley Central has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. East Hamilton has already played their next match (against Howard Tech), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
