Volleyball Recap: Iroquois West Comes Up Short

Iroquois West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gardner-South Wilmington Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-13.

Iroquois West's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Gardner-South Wilmington, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-6.

Iroquois West has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Danville on the 27th. As for Gardner-South Wilmington, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Watseka on the 27th.
