Academic Magnet is a perfect 6-0 against Woodland since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Raptors will head out on the road to square off against the Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Academic Magnet is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of South Carolina's top teams: Philip Simmons, who was ranked 17th at the time (Academic Magnet was ranked sixth). The Raptors fell just short of the Iron Horses by a score of 2-1 last Wednesday. The loss was Academic Magnet's first of the season.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Woodland's offense. They lost 9-0 to Blythewood on Wednesday. Woodland have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Woodland's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Academic Magnet, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 16-1.

Academic Magnet took their victory against Woodland in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 11-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raptors since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
