Basketball Recap: Argyle Drops Season-High Score on Iowa-Grant

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Argyle). They came out on top against the Iowa-Grant Panthers by a score of 71-61 on Tuesday. The win was familiar territory for the Orioles who have now won three matches in a row.

Argyle's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Iowa-Grant, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Argyle will take on Black Hawk in a holiday battle at at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Argyle is facing Black Hawk at the right time seeing as Black Hawk is stuck on a five-game losing streak. Iowa-Grant and Darlington will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Darlington knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Iowa-Grant likes a good challenge.
