After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Teays Valley, Lancaster was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Groveport-Madison Cruisers with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Golden Gales as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Lancaster was: they took every set by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-8, 25-11.

Kileigh Rohr paced Lancaster's offense, picking up eight kills. Rohr got some help from Bella McKnight and her 21 assists. Rohr was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Lancaster's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Groveport-Madison, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lancaster is set to square off against their familiar foe Pickerington Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Groveport-Madison will challenge rival Teays Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
