Baseball Recap: Adams Comes Up Short

Adams blew North Dallas out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Monday North Dallas got their revenge. The Cougars fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 4-2. The Cougars' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it six in a row dating back to last season.

Jay Ortiz made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Adams' loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Adams will be taking part in a tournament against Ennis at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. As for North Dallas, they will take on Rice in a tournament on Thursday.
