Basketball Recap: Roncalli Comes Up Short

Roncalli was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 47-44 heartbreaker at the hands of the St. Mary's Springs Ledgers. While losing is never fun, the Jets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 288th, while the Ledgers are ranked 89th).

Roncalli's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for St. Mary's Springs, their win bumped their record up to 14-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Roncalli will challenge Brillion at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Mary's Springs has already played their next match (against Winnebago Lutheran Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
