Recap: Nazareth Swifts vs. Miami Warriors
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Nazareth Swifts, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. Their rough 50-30 defeat to Miami on Friday might stick with them for a while. The matchup was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Nazareth struggled afterwards.
It was another big night for Haiden Thompson, who threw for 279 yards and five touchdowns on only 18 passes, and also rushed for 167 yards and a touchdown while picking up 10.4 yards per carry. Breken Early was in the mix as well, providing Miami with two touchdowns.
Nazareth has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Miami, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
Nazareth does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Miami will head out on the road to face off against Springlake-Earth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Springlake-Earth is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
