Northside Christian Academy was forced to take a big loss against they on Tuesday, they got the better of them on Friday. Everything went their way against the Augusta Christian Lions as they made off with a 9-2 victory. The Crusaders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Will Spotts, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and five RBI. He also scored two runs, which is notable because Northside Christian Academy is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 3-8 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Whit Craft, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

Northside Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Augusta Christian, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-16.
