Volleyball Recap: Advance Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Advance waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Saxony Lutheran Crusaders by a score of 2-0. This was a revenge game for the Hornets: when they faced off against the Crusaders last Wednesday, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

Advance can attribute much of their success to Kyndall Hitt, who had 12 digs and six assists. That's the most digs Hitt has posted over her last seven matchups. Cashlynn Sturgeon also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Advance's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Saxony Lutheran, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3-1.

Advance has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Valle Catholic on the 13th. As for Saxony Lutheran, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Central on the 13th.
