Heath barely beat Licking Heights the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Hornets with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hornets, too.

Heath never let Licking Heights on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-23, 25-21.

Kylie Green paced Heath's offense, picking up seven kills. Green got some help from Ansley Harbage and her 24 assists. Harbage was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Heath now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Licking Heights, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-3.

Heath didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against West Muskingum on the 30th. As for Licking Heights, they will face off against Watkins Memorial at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
