After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Buckeye, Westlake was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Cuyahoga Heights Red Wolves. Considering the Demons have won three games by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
The team relied heavily on Riley Knapp, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Lindsey Horvath also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen bases of the season.
