Volleyball Recap: Charlotte Orioles vs. Portland Raiders
Charlotte was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Portland Raiders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Orioles of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-18, 21-25, 25-22.
Anastasia Seidelman was nothing short of spectacular for Portland: she had 30 digs. Seidelman is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in the last three games she's played dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Charlotte will square off against Lansing Catholic at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday. After both having extra time off, Portland and Sexton will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sexton is coming into the contest with three straight defeats on the road, meaning Portland will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win.
