Basketball Recap: Emanuel County Institute Takes a Loss

Emanuel County Institute was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 60-34 to the Jenkins County War Eagles. The Bulldogs were probably out for revenge after losing 69-50 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Emanuel County Institute's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Jenkins County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Emanuel County Institute will square off against Savannah at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Jenkins County, they will venture away from home to square off against Treutlen at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
