Jefferson Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Hinkley Thunder 79-0. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Jaguars had established a 64 point advantage.

What's more, Nygren also racked up seven offensive rebounds, the most she's had since back in December of 2023. Another player making a difference was Avah Berlin, who went 9 for 12 en route to 18 points plus eight rebounds and three steals.
Jefferson Academy and Frontier Academy will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Hinkley, they will head out on the road to take on Aurora Central at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
