After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Joseph City, Williams was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Bagdad Sultans as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Sultans recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Williams never let Bagdad on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-23, 25-14.

Leading Williams to victory were Kenzie Orozco and Daisy Vazquez. Orozco had 11 digs and one assist, while Vazquez had five aces and three digs. Those five aces gave Vazquez a new career-high.

They weren't the only good server: Williams was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 18 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.
