Softball Recap: Cannelton Bulldogs vs. Shoals Jug Rox
Cannelton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 17-1 to the Shoals Jug Rox.
For Shoals' part, Kensie Perry was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single hit, only one earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Perry was even better at the plate, going 5-for-5 with a home run, six RBI, and two stolen bases.
